ReplyDeleteLooks like a good one. can't wait
ReplyDeleteI look forward to your post! But I'm not sure I'm looking forward to seeing the rocket go from its spot on top of the Peoplemover load area to laying in a parking lot.
ReplyDeleteRemember when it was put up for auction? I don't think it received a bid, but maybe Richard Kraft bought it.
Yeah! A New Post! A New Post!
ReplyDeleteAnd there was much rejoicing!
Mike, please, do you suppose you could fuss with the details a little so that this story ends up with a happy ending? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteMajor: I think the Rocket Tower did sell the second time, but there were no bids when it opened at 10K at the time. I'm not sure who got it, but I hope they are taking loving care of it! I do have a blast exhaust cone to one of the tower's jet-fins.
ReplyDeleteKevin: Sadly here in 2012, most tales of Tommorowland 1967 don't have happy endings. But I'll see what I can do with the final images posts.
